As an official Goba member, attention on matters related to the Bookmaking Network is provided. Services includes legal advice and support through to the Gambling Industry spectrum. Our mission is to ensure our Members awareness of Industry communication, Sporting Events, FICA Regulation and Guidance, Licensing Procedures to obtainment and Maintenance thereof. Goba provides and maintains a professional service for his Members at the Gauteng Gambling Board. During the years Goba, earned credibility with the Gauteng Gambling Board upon which his Members can rely upon. Representation of the Member Business is of paramount importance whereby Goba his earned credibility to satisfy Members matters.
As you are no doubt aware, more and more of the Provincial Gambling and Bookmaking Authorities ("the Boards") are now making it a licence condition that Bookamkers belong to a recognised Bookamakers' Association, such as GOBA.
GOBA has been in operation since 1935, and at present has 58 members.
We are a non-profit organisation, goverened by a comprehensive Constitution, with a committee to lead the Association who have many years' experience in the industry.

- By joining us, you will fulfil any licence requirements you may have in this regard
- We attend to the registration of your cleks and managers subsequint to the provisions of the completed documentation, and ensure that we follow up on such regsitrations frequently on your behalf, until such time as your cleks and/or managers are registsred.
- We can assist you in providing a guarantee to the Borad, and the funds deposited into our account by you in this regards will earn interest.
- The full sum paid to us, with interest is refunded to you should you leave the Association for any reason.
- We further provide the Board with a Global Guarantee on your behalf upon payment of the sum of R200 000.00, which is also refunded to you should you leave the Association for any reason.
- GOBA is regularly involved in litigation aimed at bettering and protecting the interests of all
Bookamakers.
- You will have access to a wealth of knowledge in respect of the Bookmaking industry from not only our memebrs and our Committee, but also from our offices.
- Our offices regularly liaise with the Gauetneg Gambling Board to stay fully apprised of any developments, which will be communicated to you.
